What is the TIADA Conference & Expo? Simply put, it is your opportunity to improve your business. The best education, connections with the top operators in the state, an Expo with 100+ relevant and motivated vendors – it’s all here set against the magnificent resort  – the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort in San Antonio, Texas.

What are the dates and location of the conference?

The conference will take place from July 21-23, 2024 and will be held at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort in San Antonio, Texas.

Who should attend?

Automobile dealers of all types from across the country attend our conference. While some of our education is geared specifically toward Texas independent automobile dealers, if you sell used cars in the U.S. you will benefit from this conference. We have something for seasoned owners and top level managers as well as the newest person in sales, IT, collections, make ready or compliance. 

How much will it cost to register for the full conference?

That depends. For association dealer members it costs $625 to register, but we do offer an early bird rate that will save you $100 if you pull the trigger before Friday, June 21st. We also offer tiered pricing, so the more people you bring, the more you save.

Dealer registration will start March 1st.


What kind of education can I expect at the conference?

BREAKOUT SESSIONS: You’ll find a total of 29 hours of quality education on Monday and Tuesday, which includes a variety of traditional presentations, panel discussions, and dealer presentations. Learning tracks will include BHPH, Special Finance & Retail, Compliance, Management, and Marketing & Technology.

DEALER-DRIVEN ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSIONS: These discussions are held BY dealers FOR dealers, creating a remarkably open environment where some of the top professionals in the state will discuss best practices, share their honest opinions about the industry, and give you a chance to do so as well.

Are there special hotel rates for attendees?

Absolutely. Special rates are available at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort. Discounted guestrooms are available for $259/night (normally $500) with a $10 daily resort fee (normally $56) for TIADA Conference attendees.
Must be reserved on or before June 21st to receive discounted rate. Room reservations that are canceled 72 hours or less prior to arrival will be charge a one night’s rate and tax. Less than 72 hours prior to scheduled arrival forfeits entire deposit.  No-shows will also be charged one night’s room & tax.

Does the hotel provide airport shuttle service?

No, the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort does not provide airport shuttle service. Click here for alternative transportation.

Can I bring friends and family?

Hey, it’s a resort! Bring your spouse, guests, and kids if that makes it easier for you to attend and let them enjoy the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort.  And, to make it even more enjoyable for you, we have options to purchase extra Expo Hall passes and awards dinner tickets if you want to bring the family to any of those events too.


Can I register for just one day?

Yes, one day dealer passes are available for $300 (and $400 for non-members).

Can I attend if I am from another state?

Yes, the word is out, TIADA has one of the best if not the best conference in the country and we traditionally have dealers from other states attend our conference. And, if you are a member of your state’s association you are eligible to attend for the Texas IADA member rate.

Should I attend if I am a franchise dealer?

Yes, if you have a significant pre-owned operation and you’re looking for compliance training or industry best practices you will find the best and the brightest business talent at our conference. Make sure you send someone from your dealership and if you are a member of TADA you can attend for the TIADA member rate.

Can I register for the conference if I am an associate member (vendor)?

Associate members are welcome to register for the conference, but only in conjunction with a sponsorship. However, our sponsorships are limited. Secure your sponsorship today by reaching out to Patty Huber at (512-310-9795) or the TIADA office at 512-244-6060 for more information.

What is the suggested attire?

We suggest you wear business casual attire most of the time but keep in mind this is a resort and it is July in Texas so make sure you are comfortable throughout the day. If you tend to run cold a jacket is advised. With that many people in a room we tend to keep it quite cold. If you plan to attend the Awards Banquet on Tuesday night, it’s a little dressy; a jacket for the men and that dress you never get to wear for the ladies.

Is there a cancellation policy?

As long as you let us know by July 14th we provide a full refund. After that date, we can offer credit toward other TIADA events.

Can I transfer my registration to someone else?

Sure, we can’t imagine not attending but we know things come up. If you can’t make it we will be happy to transfer your registration. Just notify us as soon as you can so we can make the new attendee feel welcome.
