Event Code of Conduct
TIADA Event Code of Conduct
All participants in TIADA events, including, but not limited to, attendees, speakers, volunteers, TIADA board members, TIADA staff, sponsors, service providers, and others are expected to abide by the TIADA Event Code of Conduct. This policy applies to all TIADA events and events of any TIADA affiliate, including those sponsored by local chapters that are held in conjunction with TIADA events.
TIADA is committed to diversity and to providing a harassment-free event experience. All attendees have the right to a safe and welcoming environment.
Harassment includes any action, statement, or behavior that TIADA considers offensive, in its reasonable judgment.
Harassment also includes the display of negative or inappropriate images in public spaces, including a virtual environment.
Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. TIADA may take any action we deem inappropriate, including warning the offender or ejecting the offender from the event and/or future events.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a TIADA staff member immediately.
