Jeff Owings has been in the Buy Here Pay Here business since 1985. He started with just six cars out of a converted Chinese restaurant in Fort Worth and, over the years, grew to four locations before intentionally scaling back to two lots he still operates today—one in Arlington and one in Fort Worth. Now sixty-four, Jeff continues to enjoy the business he built, treating it more like a hobby than a job. He’s proud to have brought his kids into the operation, though he shows no signs of slowing down just yet.
